The shared bathroom was absolutely fantastic with three cabin showers, three basins, and three WC. It was so spacious and clean, making it easy for everyone to use. I loved how convenient it was to have all those facilities available.
Personally, I preferred having a private bathroom instead of a shared one, but I understand that some people might enjoy the social aspect of it.

I stayed at this hostel and had an amazing experience. The owner and his wife were so helpful and friendly, making me feel right at home. The breakfast they served was the best I've had in my entire trip around Asia. The value for money at this place is unbeatable. Despite a few minor drawbacks like the uncomfortable mattresses and the walk to the main beach, I highly recommend Cycling Backpacker Hostel. I had a great stay and would definitely recommend this place to other travelers.

The decoration at the hostel was lovely, with a cozy and homely atmosphere. The common areas were comfortable and accessible for senior people, providing a peaceful place to relax and unwind. The location near the train station was convenient for easy transportation.
It would have been even better if the children working there were more engaged and enthusiastic.

The location of the hostel is very convenient, right beside the train station and not far from the main road for the bus. It may be a little walk from the beach, but it is worth it considering the other benefits. the hostel provides personal lights, charging points, and fans for each dorm bed, which is a bonus for travelers. the staff is really friendly and helpful, offering tips and local knowledge of things to do.
One drawback is that the hostel is a bit far from the happening area of the city. Guests might need to take a tuk-tuk to get around, which can generate additional costs.

The decoration of the hostel was charming and had a cozy feeling, with colorful walls and comfortable furniture. The general areas, such as the lounge and dining area, were well-maintained and provided a welcoming atmosphere for senior people. Additionally, the hostel's accessibility was excellent, with easy access to the main road and public transportation. It made it convenient for me to explore the area and enjoy my vacation.
I would have appreciated more handrails or grab bars in the common areas and bathrooms to ensure the safety of senior people.

We had a fantastic stay at a hostel just 120 mts away from the train station. the location was perfect, as it only took us 5 minutes to walk to the station for our next destination. the staff at the hostel were incredibly friendly and helpful, assisting us with everything from arranging transportation to organizing tours and activities. the hostel itself had a great atmosphere, and the facilities were top-notch. the showers and toilets were clean, the beds were comfortable with individual fans, and there were USB and plug outlets for each bed. the free breakfast provided was amazing, with toast, eggs, jam, fruit, cake. it was the best hostel experience we've had in Sri Lanka. Cons: Nothings 😊.
